I already feel like a winner! I’ve spent the last 2-3years following my dream to help companies improve the sustainability performance of the products they make and sell. That is all I’ve wanted to do since I was 20 yrs old. On top of that, I’ve just had the most fabulous week with my gorgeous family makingmemories on the beautiful island of Sal in Cape Verde, and (cue super smug zone) I got up early today and swam 1km before work!
So, although today I have my finalist interview for Woman Who Achieves awards 2024, I see this as a bonus, not a necessity. Taking part in the awards has provided a fantastic opportunity to share what I do, to reflect on my achievements and consider how I have over come the challenges in my business in the last year, which is super… but it doesn’t define me.
I look forward to meeting the judges later to talk about how I have followed my dream and helped my clients improve their sustainability impact along the way. But I am also going bask in that post holiday glow and feel super proud that I kept my promise to myself and went for a swim to start the week. Lets see what next Monday brings!
